SF3’s Iso Inspo to start your week!

SF3’s Iso Inspo to start your week!

Get yourself a cuppa and settle in for a beauty in today’s SF3 Iso Inspo. This gorgeous and oh so moving film, – Interview – is by American/Australian Michèle Jedlicka from Inverell, NSW. Shot completely on her own, in her own backyard (well it’s technically a farm so she has the space) on her Samsung S8. Just look at what’s possible and be inspired!

PS. She got the aerial shots by tying her phone to a windmill!

Iso Inspo from Jason van Genderen!

Iso Inspo from Jason van Genderen!

We hope you all had an amazing Easter and Passover and we wanted to share a very special Iso Inspo for you today. This is one of the best documentaries we’ve ever seen. Filmed by our Major Sponsor and master smartphone filmmaker, Jason van Genderen from We Are Treehouse, Beholder tells the story of Jason’s dad and his life’s work.

Proving Jason’s motto that everyone has a story to tell, we wonder, who could you make a film about for SF3 2020?

Thursday’s Iso Inspo

Thursday’s Iso Inspo

Today’s Iso Inspo is from local Sydney filmmaker, Jim Minns, and his film ‘Hit’, which won the SF3 Best Screenplay Award in 2015! Our very first year!

One shot, one location, one actor and one more voice actor…yes, very inspiring!

Wednesday’s Iso Inspo

Wednesday’s Iso Inspo

Wednesday’s Iso Inspo and this one hails all the way from 2017. It’s completely shot within one house with a group of friends, so gather your flatmates and start shooting. ‘Aspyxia’ by Raphael Keric and with Ronnie Campagnone is an alluring, dark and mature film, and it should inspire you to get creative and think outside the box. Go on…we dare you!

Today’s Iso Inspo

Today’s Iso Inspo and it happens to be one of our very favourite films ever. Not just a favourite SF3 film, but an all-time personal favourite from every film we’ve ever seen!

Be inspired by Victorian filmmaker, Adrian Jeffs and his film, A Good Day To Die. It takes a special skill and courage to be soo open and vulnerable in your story-telling PLUS check out Adrian’s incredible cinematography skills and eye. What personal story do you have to share?
