We wanted to tell you about the #Filmbreaker Award. With the sponsorship of Jason van Genderen, together every year we choose the best first-time filmmaker to win this Award at our Gala Finals. As well as a prize pack from our other sponsors, the winning filmmaker wins a mentorship with Jason himself to set them on the path for career and filmmaking success.
Our aim at SF3 is to make sure that everyone feels that they can make a film and have it seen, to encourage grassroots filmmaking as much as we do professional and to gather stories from filmmakers the world over and create opportunities with our wonderful sponsors and supporters like Jason.
